Hi all,
I am downloading fastq files from the SRA using the fasterq-dump tool of sra-tools:
fasterq-dump -e 7 -t /path/to/SCRATCH_DIR -O /path/to/output/dir SRR7634511
I’m using my institution’s cluster and there are 13T of available space on the disk (the temp and output directories are on the same disk). However, a few minutes into the download, I’m getting the following error:
2021-02-04T23:17:48 fasterq-dump.2.10.9 err: storage exhausted while writing file within file system module - system bad file descriptor error fd=‘4'
How can I alleviate this error? Thank you!
