Convert Abi-Solid Reads To Colored Space Fastq

Hi all,

Is there any tool or script to convert ABI SoLiD data (csfasta +qual) to colored space FASTQ reads. There is an option in GALAXY but it is too difficult to upload loads of data and download it. Would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

The bfast aligner has a tool called solid2fastq in the scripts directory, this will allow you to run perform the conversion locally. This is probably what Galaxy uses as well.

There are python scripts mentioned in the Transforming and manipulating color space reads tutorial with code as well.
