Hello community,
I want to create a phylogenetic Tree with AliView. For that I downloaded the sequences from NCBI and realigned them with MAFFT. But when I use the command for Fastree + FigTree ("C:\Program files\FastTree\FastTree.exe" -nt -gtr TEMP_OUT_FILE CURRENT_ALIGNMENT_FASTA "C:\Program files\FigTree v1.4.4\FigTree v1.4.4\FigTree v1.4.4.exe" TEMP_OUT_FILE) it doesnt work. Instead there comes a pop up with a Error message: This file contains no tree. I already created these trees with the exact same sequences and programs and commands but do to an update and no backup I have to do it again. But I dont get why it wont work this time. Has anyone an idea why it wont work? Thanks in advance for any help.
