bcftools command not working

Hi there, I keep getting the following error when trying to run bcftools.

 bcftools: cannot execute binary file

I am working on a Linux Power9 system. Could this be the reason?

Most likely. Power9 CPU's are not compatible with x86 binary that you likely downloaded. You will need to compile from source, if you are able to.
