Bioinformatics/Biostatistics and Neurobiology Postdoctoral and Research Assistant Positions in Biomarker Discover Programme in Psychosis

Health Research Board funded Postdoctoral and Research Assistant/ Technician positions are available from November 1 in the Psychosis Biomarker Discovery Group in RCSI/UCD.

Topic: Biomarker discovery in psychosis; a proteomic, lipidomic and metabolomic study of plasma from subjects at high risk for psychosis,

Salary and duration: The postdoctoral positions are available for up to three years with a salary range of €37,750 -¬‐ €41,181 (full or potentially part-time), and the research assistant with a salary of €30,200 – 32,930 depending on experience to date.

Key requirements: Post 1: For the postdoctoral position in bioinformatics and biostatistics candidates will require a knowledge of high throughput analytical and integrative approaches including ideally systems biology experience.

Post 2: For the postdoctoral position in neurobiology, laboratory based expertise in lipidomics and/or proteomics is required.

Post 3: For the research assistant position experience in laboratory management and lipidomics and/or proteomics is desired.
