Hi,

Does anyone know of the existence of software that allows one to predict the occurrence of recombination events in trio families from SNP data?

By the above, I mean, given SNP data from both parents, is it possible to predict the occurence of a recombination event in the child based on his/her genotypes.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Darren.

Our lab has a web tool (pediSNP) that meets your needs. Here is the publication. You can upload your data, and the analysis takes a few minutes.
