The Position

Responsibilities: We have an opening for a creative and energetic post-doc to work on quantitative problems in high-throughput sequencing and applications to human health. Potential areas of application include: discovery of novel transcripts, novel isoforms, novel gene fusions, RNA editing, or transposon expression and reintegration. Candidates with strong interest and experience in one of these areas are encouraged to apply.

Who You Are

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. and a background in statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field, as well as a reasonable working knowledge of molecular biology. He or she should be motivated, able to work well in teams, and have excellent communication skills.
