Forum:This May Be Just Me, But The "New Post!" Button Always Gets Me

Hi all,

This may be just me, but nearly every post I've made here I've had to type twice. As soon as I proof read my post I excitedly move my cursor to the green button and... realize I've hit "New Post" in the top instead of "Submit Post" below.

Again, this may be some thing that is a unique problem in my brain. However, if others have experienced this, is it possible to have a dialog box pop up that says "You have not submitted your current post, are you sure you want to create a new post?"

Interesting tidbit, we who develop the site know too much about how it works to be able to notice these problems.

We'll remove that misleading button ASAP. Indeed it even turns green ... I agree that is pretty misleading.

The button has been disabled on the new post page. Thanks for taking the time to report it.

Excellent! Thank you. I'm sure it will save a few of us from having to retype our post... I always felt like the second time I typed the post it wasn't as good as the first one.
