We are looking for highly skilled, motivated candidates to help push forward our genomics operating system. You will be responsible for developing key components of our platform, including cloud deployment, high-performance computing features, bioinformatics system support, as well as the development of innovative methods of data visualisation and analysis. This includes big data processing, analytics and visualisations. We are looking for candidates with a university degree in a technical subject, such as engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics, demonstrating top academic achievement.

You should be experienced in software engineering and have a solid grasp of software architecture principles. We use Java and Python, mostly, with some shell scripting. Key to us is your ability to think and learn, to work independently and be creative. You will be challenged with a variety of diverse problem areas and technologies, and will learn many new things in the process.

Genestack Platform provides a bioinformatics SDK and is available as cloud-based data and apps hosting ecosystem. Genestack was founded in 2012 by former European Bioinformatics Institute employees and JetBrains s.r.o., specialists in the creation of intelligent software development tools.
