Hi,
I am trying to reclaim some of the good features from SE. In the first version, we had an automatic "question bump demon", that would randomly put old questions at the top of the stack. This served the purpose of making old questions more visible. I therefore propose to have such a demon with the following extended functionality, such that
- Questions are picked randomly from the question pool and put at the top
- Random picking frequency should be adjustable, default 1-3 Q per day
- Random picking should occur more frequently for questions in that order: without an answer, without accepted answer, any Q
- In addition: question that are referenced, e.g. by duplicates should appear at the top of the stack immediately
