Hi All,
I have a GFF3 file and i want to identify spliceforms from the file and separate them as independent lines of the file. I am currently using BCBio (or any better parser?). I think i will need to access the "Parent = ' '" data, but i am unable to access the information from the methods under GFF parse.
Has anyone dealt with such a problem before? Any help will be much appreciated.
Where does the GFF3 file come from? Have you looked at examples of the type of data you are trying to extract in the file? This would show you what information you actually have access to.
