Off topic:'X' Must Be Numeric In Pvclust?

Hey, so I am getting this error Error in cor(x, method = "pearson", use = use.cor) : 'x' must be numeric

the matrix is all numerical, and does not produce this problem with a distance measure. its only when i attempt a correlation that i get this problem... any ideas?

here is the code
