Computing Similarity Between Lists Of Enriched Terms

Is there a tool to see how similar two lists of enriched terms are?

I have a list of enriched biological processes GOTerms for mouse and rat- finding the similarity between these sounds like a graph problem (how far down in the tree can you go)

How can I compare enriched/depleted GO terms between genelists? might to be asking the same thing, but I've yet to find any description of the tools suggested there that makes them sound like they do what I am asking.

Have you solved this problem? I'm also trying to compare two lists of GO terms, and each tool seems lacking.

Do you have any specific similarity measure in mind ? You can try GO semantic similarity measure, implemented in FastSemSim

Disclaimer: I haven't used the tool myself, so cannot say anything more on it

You can try using GoSemSim, a R/Bioconductor package for comparing lists of GO Terms. The function you may be interested specifically would be "mgoSim"
