Bioinformatics Startup company iBinom develop fast and effective high-throughput service for NGS analysis, which makes genetic disorders diagnostics simpler and faster. The mission of the Sales Representative is to understand the bioinformatics needs of clinical laboratories undertaking next-generation sequencing to diagnose genetic disorders. The representative will present our unique value proposition, source leads negotiate agreements and close deals.
Job Description
- Identify organizations that can benefit from our product
- Present our value proposition over the telephone, on a web conference or in a meeting
- Develop sales and marketing materials
- Negotiate agreements and close deals
- Continue to support customers to get the most from our product
- Liaise with the rest of the business team and the development team to identify further improvements to be made to the product
Previous Experience and Skills
- Presenting a unique value proposition in various situations
- Building relationships, negotiating agreements and closing deals of significant value
- Working effectively within diverse teams in a continually changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field required. Graduate degree a plus
- Deep and current domain knowledge of Genomics / NGS / Bioinformatics is required; Experience selling NGS instruments, software and/or services is preferred
- Ability to work effectively from a remote location with minimal supervision is required
Highly desirable
- Deep knowledge of Genomics and Next Gen Sequencing technologies including Key Opinion Leaders
- Previous experience in selling products and/or services to medium and large organizations around bioinformatics or genetic sequencing
- Existing networks within the next-generation sequencing space
Location
Preferred locations are Boston, San Francisco or NYC.
