Various strains of Saccharomyces have been resequenced by Sanger and are available here: ftp://ftp.sanger.ac.uk/pub/users/dmc/yeast/latest
I am interested in SK1 and looking at the sequences, it is apparent that it is not a high quality finished genome assembly. Does anyone know of a better resource? I would be surprised if nobody has reassembled the genome before now considering how often it is used in the lab.
seems like SK1 might not be the official genome name, you can look at the list of yeast genomes from NCBI and maybe it is included in there
