Hi all

We tried running rosetta predction for a membrane protein. While doing so we encountered the following error:

[root@localhost membrane_abinitio]# octopus2span.pl best1.octopus bash: octopus2span.pl: command not found

can anyone say how to rectify this error?

regards priya

Try: ./octopus2span.pl best1.octopus

Commands that are in your current directory need to be explicitly marked with ./ so that nothing goes wrong if you have a command named ls or cd in your current directory.

Also: It is generally a good idea to only use root access when strictly necessary, as a normal user cannot mess up things outside their home directory.

Alternative: $ perl octopus2span.pl best1.octopus

One of the reasons why I like visiting your blog so much is because it has become a daily reference I can use [?]viagra online pharmacy[?] in order to learn new nice stuff. It's like a curiosities box that surprises you over and over again.
