Diamond blastx output is huge and Megan crashes upon importing

Hello,

The blastx file generated by Diamond is huge at nearly 40 GB. Is that why Megan crashes when I import the blastx file? A smaller file at 7 GB was imported fine for parsing. Should I try to change something in Diamond to make the blastx file smaller?

Actually I have a meganized file generated at 6GB but it is not opening.
