Hi all,

I'm adding the finishing touches to a data distribution platform and I'm on the hunt for beta users, so if you might find this useful please read on.

I've spent the last few years managing sequencing data at a core facility and this is app is the culmination of everything I learned along the way.

Some of the features include:

  • Assigning user/group permissions from a simple web GUI so anyone non-technical can manage which users, labs and collaborators see which files
  • Templated notification emails with variables, so you're not manually writing messages and pasting in lists of sample names and FTP paths
  • A spreadsheet-like UI so files can easily be annotated (including filling-down and copy/pasting), grouped and filtered
  • Custom Views and Picklists so subsets of data can be grouped off for specific analysis projects
  • APIs so data can be described programmatically - either with manifest files (for pipelines) or using serverless endpoints (for LIMS)
  • Presigned URLs so your files stay where they are (network file system or private cloud) and the platform generates secret, time-limited URLs on-demand to manage access

There's more info and an explainer video at https://fileslide.io

Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions
