How to merge SRRs from 1 sample

Hello-

I received RNAseq data for which each sample was run in multiple lanes, so have multiple data files for each sample. At what point in analysis can the files from one sample be merged?

You may want to keep them separate in initial steps of qc/trimming through alignment since separate files allow you to work on them in parallel. You can merge them after the alignment step before proceeding further. You could also merge them in right order at the beginning and carry on with the merged data file.
