Dears, I have group of metabolites of prediabetic patients and I found Prolylhydroxyproline (HMDB0006695) and hydroxyproline (HMDB0000725) metabolite among the metabolites. I need to know should I deal with them as they are different metabolites or same metabolites as they both help in collagen deposition during wound healing? plus, if there is a guide for the difference between them, I will be grateful.
