Supervised clustering from gene expression (fold change) data

Hi everybody,

I have a case control study and want to clusted genes in subgroups of patients, what is called supervised clustering (correct me if I´m wrong, please). When finding scripts or help on the topic everybody starts from BAM files.

My question is: is possible to do a supervised clustering analysis from gene expression (fold change) data?
