Hi all

I am working on Barley (Hordeum vulgare) plant. I have a list of five genes of my interest with EnsemblPlants IDs, eg. HORVU2Hr1G086140. I would like to locate these genes on chromosomes. I have tried the 'Add Features' with IDs on EnsemblPlants but could not get the gene location on chromosomes. Also I would like to detect the duplication of my genes in barley genome. Please help me in this analysis.

Thanks

Not sure how you are doing it but in EnsemblPlants I just pasted the ID HORVU2Hr1G086140 in the search box at the top right hand corner and the search returned the chromosome location "Chromosome chr2H: 621,114,389-621,117,467 reverse strand".

I hope this helps.

For further details under the biomart tab you can select the database and dateset of interest then click on filter and paste the five ids in the gene stable id box under GENE ASSOCIATED VARIANT FILTERS then choose the attributes that you want then click on the results icon to get some out put like this.
