I am trying to export a network file into an image file in cytoscape. However, I was unable to export it since there is an error as Access is denied. I tried to open the cytoscape as run as administrator. Still, the access is denied error is appearing. I am grateful if you could help me to figure out whether there is any possible solution to my problem.
Thank you so much for your reply!. I use Cytoscape version 3.7.2 in Windows 10. As you recommended, I tried to find the place where I write the file. It is located in 'C:\Program Files\Cytoscape_v3.7.2'. Thus, I tried to export the files into this directory and it works well. Thank you so much once again for your kind help!
However, when I tried to export to a different working directory, the Access is denied error is coming. I tried to export to a different working directory (separate folder where I keep my input network file) and also two other locations such as Desktop and Downloads. For the Desktop, access is denied error is coming and for Downloads, 'The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect' error is coming. Since I am new to use cytoscape, I was unable to figure out why this error is coming.
If you could have any help for this difference, it is greatly appreciated!
