Hello, biostars!
I have a complex pedigree file with genotypes, with 40 founders, 39 no-founders, and 50 SNP's.
I'm running MERLIN as follows:
merlin -d PEDIGREE.dat -p PEDIGREE.txt -m PEDIGREE.map --best --bits:38 --megabytes:2048
And I got the next message: SKIPPED: At least 1027 megabytes needed
I turn the flag "--megabytes:2048" as the documentation recommends to avoid crash, but I think I have enough resources to run it (12 GB of RAM, and 1TB of memory), and the SKIPPED message still appears. I want MERLIN to use enough resources to process the pedigree. Any way to solve this problem?
