Cytoscape - How to filter when starting from a complete network, built from a gene-to-gene adjacency matrix

Greetings,

I'm trying to visualize a gene-to-gene network, generated from a gene-to-gene adjacency matrix that I loaded into Cytoscape via the "aMatReader" plugin.

The original adjacency data looks like: data

Cytoscape edges looks like: cytoscape_edges

However, I'm trying to filter edges AND nodes, by the value of the adjacency values, which are loaded as "SCODE", as shown below: chain_filtering

This does not appear to be filtering anything. I've tried every combination in vain, so I'm hoping someone can explain to me how to select nodes AND edges, based on edge column data, so that I may filter them in or out.

Thanks and kind regards, JP
