Hi
Running this octopus2span.pl best1.octopus in rosetta with ./ gives the aminoacid sequence output as well as octopus topology file as another output. But a particular .span output file needs to be generated upon running this octopus2span.pl command. so how to rectify this ? pls help

Does the script come with documentation? Have you read it? Is there some in comments in the script? Does it print usage when you call it incorrectly? If there is really none, please paste the script into a pastebin and link here, so someone who can read Perl can have a loot at it. Without it, it's really hard to help you.
