Dear BioStars fellows,
We are a startup team of different majors - bioinformatics, molecular biology and computer science with rich experience in NGS data analysis and bioinformatics web-development, clinical genomics in particular.
After reading some great BioStars posts, we thought freelancing and consulting might be a good idea. We can do so many things yet so few market demands can be found in Amoy ( a city located in southeast of mainland China ), or maybe we just don't know.

Specifically, we can help you analyzing different types of omics NGS data and developing bioinformatics web applications at a fair price.
So, this is our immature thoughts for now, any suggestions? You can contact us via, jasontang0591 [at] gmail [dot] com
Make yourselves a website? Nothing flashy; the simpler the better. Do some pro bono work to build up a portfolio + earn some goodwill and networking.
Set yourselves up in a way that you distinguish yourself from everyone else: don't do something gimmicky ("We have this big investor lined up!!"), but actually something substantial and meaningful (e.g., demonstrable adherence to extremely stringent ethical standards).
Edit:
AmoyATAG
is a great name for the company, BTW. Nice choice. Thanks for your advice. Actually, we are working on such a demo website, will post it when finished 😁
That's nice. Looking forward to being able to take a look!!
