Second call for applications to the DevelopMed MSCA COFUND Fellowship Programme.

Overview

DevelopMed, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) COFUND Action, is an International Training and Career Development Fellowship Programme led by University College Dublin and coordinated by Systems Biology Ireland (SBI).

The Programme offers 12 prestigious Precision Oncology Fellowships to experienced researchers at the early stage of their career.

All fellowships are based in Irish research performing organisations: University College Dublin (UCD), National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG), University College Cork (UCC), and the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences (RCSI).

Fellowships also include 3-6 month secondments at any research institution in academic, industry, clinical and/or charity sectors.

DevelopMed prioritizes interdisciplinary training and career support to fellows, with the aim of developing the next generation of leaders in precision oncology.

Eligibility Criteria

  • All applicants must, at the time of the deadline for submission of proposals, be in possession of a doctoral degree or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience.

  • Fellowships are open to candidates of any nationality, who at the time of the deadline for submission of proposals, shall not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, study, etc.) in Ireland for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the deadline for submission date. Applicants may also not have resided or carried out their main activity in the Republic of Ireland for more than 3 years in the 5 years immediately prior to the call deadline.
