Hi.. has anyone worked with .ab1 files in the galaxy? I know the workflow of RNAseq analysis but currently, I have .ab1 files(forward and reverse) from the sanger sequencer, so I need to work on that.

Any clue will be appreciated.

Please ask galaxy related questions on their help forum: https://help.galaxyproject.org/

I don't think galaxy has any tools to work with .ab1 files. You should instead look at programs mentioned in this thread: How To Call Snp From .Ab1 Files Of Sanger Sequencing?

There are Galaxy wrappers for tracy. Tracy is a command-line tool to analyze Sanger chromatogram traces, which has also a web front end: www.gear-genomics.com
