Macs2 tmp directory

I am currenting doing some peak calling for ChIP-seq using Macs2, and I'm running into an issue where all the temporary files are being stored in /tmp, but there is not enough space on the root drive to store everything so it throws an error during callpeak once it runs out of space.

Is there a way to set the tmp file location in macs2 to a different location with more space? Or will I have to make room on the root drive? I can't seem to find anything in the documentation for this option.
