How to Find predicted structure of a protein NOT on uniprot, only given the gene ID

I have been giving a gene ID Tb927.10.4580, and need to find the predicted structure of the protein. Entering this gene ID does not give any results on Uniprot which match the gene ID. I have tried using AlphaFold2_advanced, but I am missing the Amino Acid sequence.

Would anyone be kind enough as to guide me on how I can see the predicted structure of the protein, despite these challenges?

All responses help!

Thank you

A simple Google search will get your protein of interest. There are links to UniProt if you dig deeper, or simply BLAST its protein sequence against UniProt to find out the equivalent protein.

Following on that...
Once you have the sequence of your protein, you can go to the Proteopedia page about AlphaFold and click How to predict structures with AlphaFold. There is a guide how you can use AlphaFold2_advanced via Google Colab that may help you navigate some of the settings. It also has some pointers for interpreting results. That route would work if indeed your protein is not in UniProt as the title of this post implied.

A simple search of UniProtKB with Tb927.10.4580 returns https://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/?query=Tb927.10.4580&sort=score

The entry is https://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q38BE3

There is a model from AlphaFold.

Please don't hesitate to contact the UniProt helpdesk if you have questions about UniProt.
