Do you know why assortative mating can cause bias in GWAS results? and what is bias in GWAS? means we do not find signals or our signals are false positive?

I do not work on GWAS, but I imagine that for this type of studies you do not want to have any type of structure in your data, and assortative mating does that, as you don't have panmixia. I am following the question for future answers, as I am interested!
