The Computational Omics | Huang lab at the Icahn School of Mount Sinai (ComputationalOmicsLab.org) is recruiting postdoctoral scholars with expertise in genomics, computational biology, and computer/data science.
In the Huang Lab, you will focus on combining Multi-Omics and Machine-Learning (ML) approaches to decode the molecular complexities of life-threatening human diseases, including Alzheimer’s Disease and Cancer. Our team has established extensive networks in national consortia and internal/external collaborations that you can build upon for collaboration and career advancement opportunities. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds with relevant skill sets to apply and will consider specific research proposals.
The lab has established a friendly hybrid work environment (ex. one day in-person/week) while remaining productive, publishing 10 last-author research articles in 2021 alone. Many of our previous publications are in high-impact journals including Nature, Cell, and Nature Neuroscience. We offer competitive salaries (15K+ above NIH minimum), great health insurance policies, and discounted postdoc housing in New York City. Check us out at: ComputationalOmicsLab.org
