Why not ask Illumina, you're paying for their support ? I have no idea but don't think there are many basespace users here.
Wanted to add some color to this, we use base space specifically for run monitoring but keep all data locally. I've always wondered if people used base space for storage and I guess we have our answer!
The fastest way will be using their CLI to do that. Check here
