Hey, I'm a begginer looking for an idea to solve the problem. I have a list of sequence access numbers. I want to search for each of them in an excel file (where there are many other sequences) and save the information about them in a new excel file. Does anyone have an idea what to do here?

Is there a script that automatically inserts this image each time Excel or excel are mentioned in a message? If so, hopefully you will let others use it from time to time. Also, it may be a good idea to mix it up with an image that says Download Python.

you want tools like sort , join and also look at "shell redirection"

see how to combine two bed files using the same ID information for an example.
