Hi,
I have been working with plink for a few weeks now. I used this tutorial on my dataset: https://choishingwan.github.io/PRS-Tutorial/plink/#required-data
It worked last week, but when trying to find the best-fit PRS (see tutorial), I had to wait for a long time, and even then it wasn't executed. So I deleted all my files that I got from the former steps in the tutorial and tried to run it again, but then I saw that the commands in the first step now also take way too long even though in the beginning it wasn't taking so much time.
Does anyone know what to do in this kind of situation? Is it plink or is it the terminal?
What is the output of
plink —version?This is the output: PLINK v1.90b6.21 64-bit (19 Oct 2020)
For my project we are using PLINK v1.9, my supervisor told me we should just stay with 1.9 instead of going for the 2.0 version
Can you post a full .log file of an unusually slow run?
