Tutorial tag posts on biostars have historically been about tools that people write and/or posts about how one does a particular analysis following a set of steps.
Your tutorial is an educational resource and not a "ready to use" set of instructions for a specific tool. Perhaps that should be noted because of traditional use of tutorial tag on biostars.
I see, maybe I can tag these kind of writings in the title some how like [educational]?
