GTEx sQTL v8 – annotation version used?

Hi everyone,

I am currently working with the GTEx sQTL v8 dataset (available here: https://gtexportal.org/home/downloads/adult-gtex/qtl ).

I’m trying to determine which annotation version (e.g., GENCODE/Ensembl release) was used by the authors for this dataset.

Does anyone know the specific annotation version, or where I could find this information in the documentation?

If you click over to the Reference tab ( https://gtexportal.org/home/downloads/adult-gtex/reference ), it looks like they used GENCODE v. 39 for v.10 of GTEx and v.26 for v.8 of GTEx.
