Hi,

I have question regarding analyzing time course data for miRNA -seq. I have do not have any replicates and as these samples for one conditions at different time points. As these are blood samples, so there is no paired control. Please is there any way I can generate expression profile for this kind of dataset. So far I have tested DEseq with blind method and VST specific expresssion profile. But I don't see much differences. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated how to proceed with this data.

Thanks,

These are the two things I can think of:

1) Look for a significant correlation between the time point (as a continuous variable) and miRNA expression

2) See what results you can get from the 'timecourse' package

http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/timecourse.html
