Dear all,

Many times, I come across this word called "NGS data integration" (especially in job postings). I understand it is analysis and integrating concepts like transcriptomics and genomics etc. But practically, I would like to have little more deeper insight with relevant example situations. I would be very thankful to your thoughts and valuable resource materials. Please spare me if I could not make the question clear or answered previously in some other form elsewhere.

Thank you,

Prakki Rama.

*I did not know whether to post this as a question or forum. I would be happy to leave the decision to administrators.

You can either consider that to mean integration of multiple NGS data types or combining NGS with other types of data (be it behavioral or some other phenotypic trait). A random example of the former (chosen only because I just read it) would be this paper, which combined bisulfite sequencing, ChIPseq, ChIP-qPCR, RNAseq and Western blots to look at the role of DNA methylation and MeCP2 binding in alternative splicing.

Thank you very much. I will go through the paper.
