I am a geneticist and pathologist interested in the genetics and genomics of genomic instability, cancer and human skin color. Most recently, I am building a team to pursue a zebrafish phenome project that will generate whole-animal images at cell resolutions. This project will require high-throughput synchrotron-based microCT, supercomputer and GPU-based image processing and visualization, and high-throughput bioengineering. I'm also a pianist fascinated with the incredible similarity between the thinking processes of learning Bach and pursuing scientific projects.
