I am now using MEGA5 to construct my phylogenetic tree.
After the construction of the phylogenetice tree, there is a scale bar at the bottom of the graph.
I think this bar may refer to the sequence identities or te substitution rate of those sequences, but I am not sure.
Does anyone knows what the scale bar represents in the phylogenetic tree?
By the looks of that I'm very sure it indicates the number of amino acid changes per site.
