Dear all,

Could someone suggest how to find syntenic loci between species. I would like to find the syntenic regions for human-dog. could this be achieved by the lift-over conversion of human to dog genomic coordinates ?

The Cynteny server might help, it seems to have both human and dog in the list of species. See

Could you let me know how is lifting over genomic ccordinates between two species different from syntenic loci?

This previous discussion about synteny on biostars includes links on how to get synteny information from Ensembl:

How to find synteny between genes and Chromosomes?

the link in ensmbl is limited for a user specified synteny loci. Is there any option to find across the whole genome between 2 species?
