Convert binding site formats from different databases and compare the motifs - any tools available?

Hi,

I am looking for a tool which can convert various TFBS formats, in particular PWM from UniProbe to meme and distribution matrices from Transfac to meme. Homer motif files to meme format and the other way around. Can anymore recommend a tool here?

Also, is there a way to access/compare motifs if more than one per factor (e.g., from different databases) is available to help to pick the most informative one?

So, I found the answer partly myself here - at least for uniprobe to meme & transfac to meme. However, I haven't found any tool to convert motifs to the homer format and back. Any suggestions?

Looks like R. Taylor Raborn has something for the Homer motif to MEME format direction. His gist here includes motif2meme.R . I don't know if that is an older form of another one I see--> MoVRs_Motif2meme.R. (They are clearly related.) That MoVR repo also contains MoVRs_Consensus2homer.py .
