I download the UCSC genome package named jksrc.zip, how can i install and use it in the Ubuntu linux system?

After you unzip the file there is a README file in the top directory but it does not give enough information to compile successfully.

Instead read the file "src/product/README.building.source" which should guide you a lot better.
