Cluepedia 'create custom file' option not working on MacBook and cytoscape keeps crashing

I am currently working with the following versions:

Cytoscape version 3.8.0

Java 11.0.7 by AdoptOpenJDK

Java Home: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/adoptopenjdk-11.jdk/Contents/Home

OS Mac OS X 10.15.3 - x86_64 (macOS Catalina)

ClueGO v2.5.7

CluePedia v.1.5.7

I am trying to perform pathway enrichment analysis. I want to manually import a file using the 'Import custom file' option of clupedia, and then I click on 'start' and then 'Open'. When I click on 'Open' the whole program crashes and I have to restart cytoscape. I have updated all services (Cluepedia string actions file) to the latest version. Does anyone else have a solution on why it keeps on crashing? I can't go further than this.

I also tried the other option 'Create custom file' and then tried uploading my file, and it works. Its just the 'Import custom file' of cluepedia that is not working on my computer.
