Hi, I was reading the paper (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2786938/). In Table 1, I'm wondering how did the authors calculate a p-value of 0.29 for Age? The age in Table 1 is about age median and range (see below). Any suggestion is welcome. Thank you! Age- year Cohort1 Cohort2 Median 50 50 Range 13-83 20-77

The figure legend lists the tests used. It says t-test was used for age.
Thank you. I mean the t-test was used for the ages of all the patient in each cohort or did they just use the age range to perform t-test?
