Hi! I hope you are all well ! I am new to WGCNA. I am not sure I understand the outcome of the function networkScreening() that contributes to the Identification of genes related to a trait. According to the documentation, the output of this function is:

p.Weighted
weighted p-value of association with the trait

q.Weighted
q-value (local FDR) calculated from p.Weighted

cor.Weighted
correlation of trait with gene expression weighted by a network term

Z.Weighted
Fisher Z score of the weighted correlation

p.Standard
standard Student p-value of association of the gene with the trait

q.Standard
q-value (local FDR) calculated from p.Standard

cor.Standard
correlation of gene with the trait

Z.Standard
Fisher Z score of the standard correlation

I am not sure what the following measures represent: "weighted p-value of association with the trait" and "standard Student p-value of association of the gene with the trait" To better understand, I tried to find what these functions are doing "under the hood" , but I have not succeeded . Could anyone enlighten me on that please? Thank you!
