New to this, so i'm sorry if it's a stupid question. Telomere sequence is TTAGGG, located at chromosome termini. Why can't i see this sequence using NCBI genome viewer with the latest human assembly?

All official human genome assemblies have very limited telomere sequences (there are some though - you can check around 10kb in chr 1 for example). This is because there were no good ways of determining the "reference" until very recently.

However, Telomere-to-telomere consortium has been very active during the last few years; their latest assembly is supposed to have only 2 gaps. So, if that's what you're after, I suggest you check it out.
