Hi, I got a genotyping data in Genomestudio 2.

I want to export the data to use in Tassel5 for PCA, LD, and GWAS analysis.

The problem is, when I load the data into Tassel5, it is put in as a numerical data, not genotype data. I read an user manual but it's not helpful.

Is there any way to convert data so that I can use in Tassel?

Thank you. Woo-joo

Hello,

It's necessary to check the genotype file format in https://bitbucket.org/tasseladmin/tassel-5-source/wiki/UserManual/Load/Load. The Hapmap format is recommended for the genotype files generated from GenomeStudio. Use 'Open as' Hapmap to try to open the file. Some Error info will appear though, just follow the info to modify the genotype file until it works for TASSEL.

Hope it can help. Raymond
